When you create a Study Junior account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and payment information. For student profiles, we collect the student's first name, grade level, and learning preferences. We also collect usage data such as lessons completed, scores, time spent, and device information to improve the learning experience.
We use your information to provide and improve Study Junior's services, personalise learning paths, track progress, process payments, and communicate with you about your account. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Usage data helps us understand how students learn best so we can build better lessons.
We take children's privacy extremely seriously. Study Junior complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and Ghana's Data Protection Act. Student profiles are managed by parents or guardians. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the learning service. We never display advertising to children or share children's data with third parties.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We store data on secure servers with strict access controls. Offline data stored on your device is encrypted using industry-standard methods. We conduct regular security reviews and follow best practices for data protection.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, we remove all personal information within 30 days. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained for service improvement.
Study Junior uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use local storage (IndexedDB) to enable offline learning. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify individual users. You can clear local data through your browser settings at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your child's learning progress at any time. You may withdraw consent for data processing by closing your account. For any privacy-related requests, contact us at [email protected] and we'll respond within 14 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Study Junior after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
